Personal Reflection: Being on the Leading Edge

Enjoy this time of personal reflection.  It is a time to pause, breathe and pay attention to where you may notice alignment with or resistance to the information shared below.   Inviting in the practice of personal reflection will deepen your confidence in what you know for sure for you…or better said, you will have greater certainty and clarity about what it is YOU KNOW.  This is a fundamental skill of Life Mastery.

Today’s personal reflection is a quote from Abraham as received by Esther Hicks.  Please enjoy.

There is no risk for you out here on the leading edge, ever. And when you come to understand the true nature of Well-being in which you have come forth—then you can relax and begin to enjoy this magnificent adventure which is your creative life experience. We are not here to guide the specifics of that which you choose. You get to choose that, and you can’t get it wrong. We are here to assist you—only to assist you—in finding vibrational harmony with your desire; knowing that when you find vibrational harmony with your desire, you are, in this moment, a joyful Being. And that is our dominant wish for you.

Reflection Questions

  1. Where in my life am I experiencing being on the leading edge?
  2. When I am at the leading edge, what does it feel like?  What is my reaction?
  3. What would change in my life if I chose to act as if the statement “There is no risk for you out here on the leading edge, ever.” was true beyond question?

Please share your thoughts on this reflection in the comments below.  Let’s continue the conversation.

  1. Those are some powerful questions! And a wonderful reflection. Thanks for sharing. Sometimes when I’m at my edge, I feel like I am suspended between two cliffs, holding onto both. Each one gets a hand. But it’s a schizophrenic feeling sometimes–to be looking left and right and wondering which hand to drop and when. I like this reflection because it pulls me above the edge, to a place of knowing and trust that I don’t need to grip onto anything. Maybe it doesn’t really matter if I let go of both hands and see where gravity takes me or if I leap left or right. Maybe what really matters is holding the vibration in my heart of what I would love to do. I have a romantic notion in my head of what it would be like to leap from one cliff to another, but maybe it isn’t so much about a leap but just choosing to step forward and trusting that the bridge will appear. But this is coming from someone still holding on, so I’m excited to see what others have to say!

  2. I told myself this year would be the year I actually listen to my own advice and looked inside more then outside. Then this post showed up and poof! I was able to, after much procrastination, have an honest conversation with myself. I was suprised at what I found out. I already knew most of this information, I just did not want to acknowledge it. But this helped me really see myself and my fears. Thank you for posting this!
